The villa is situated  in the Fuente Amarga area of Chiclana de la Frontera, close to all amenities.  Chiclana de la Frontera is as old as it is famous. The town sits astride the river Iro with its landmark blue bridge.  Modern day Chiclana de la Frontera has both an old town and a new town but its fame lies in the beach area known as La Barrosa. At one time the town sat inland a few miles with a long thin road leading down the the beach but over time this road has filled in with beautiful houses, shops and manicured roundabouts.  It is now almost impossible to tell where Chiclana town stops and the beach area begins.
