We were absolutely delighted with the apartment in Calle Sopranis, which allowed us to feel part of the neighbourhood while still enjoying modern amenities. We had a great time at this lovely apartment and very spacious roofterrace in el Barrio Pópular, the ancient heart of Cádiz. Close to the tapasbars, restaurants and also the city beaches. It was perfectly clean and we had everything to our convenience. The ceiling fans helped to keep the warmth of. We didn't miss the lack of airconditioning at all. The owner is very helpful, and reacts almost immediately when you have a question. We stayed here for 2 weeks and we can recommend this apartment to everyone!

We had a fantastic week in Cadiz, the owner was very friendly and helpful, and explained everything about the apartment. The apartment was beautiful, clean and just as described in the listing. Getting there: We arrived by train after a week in Fuengirola, via one night stop in Seville. We organised the train tickets in the UK which was very easy to do however we nearly missed our connecting trains on the way home due to the late train from Cadiz to Seville (Dos Hermanos) so I would give myself more than 20 minutes in future. However apart from that it was very easy to get around on the trains and we would definitely go back to Cadiz. The people were very friendly, the tapas bars and restaurants were amazing and there was usually some form of busking outside the cathedral every night. We loved the little narrow streets to walk around, the markets all the little squares and the beaches! We will definitely come back because we didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do and we would recommend this property to people as long as you can manage stairs to the top of the Penthouse, it was worth it every day! Absolutely perfect in every way! The location was central to everything yet very quiet. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable, and though there was no air conditioning, there were overhead bedroom fans and several floor fans that kept the apartment a very comfortable temperature even on the hottest days. The owner met us on arrival and was very knowledgable and helpful. I ended up forgetting my iphone charger and Cadizcasa was great about shipping it back to me at no charge. Booked this apartment through cadizcasa and have to say it lived up to all our expectations. The booking process and pre arrival correspondence with Cadizcasa went smoothly. Arrived via train and the apartment is no more than 10 minutes walk from the station and we arranged to meet in the main square - no problems and he took us to the apartment. This is located on the top floor of a converted merchants house and is exactly as shown in the advertisement. Very comfortable, spacious, good air con and great views from the sun terraces. It is located right in the heart of the old town, but very quiet, and ideally located for bars and restaurants. We loved Cadiz, very reasonably priced bars and tapas, a bit of culture if you want it and great beaches. We used the local bus (very easy to use) along the seafront and jumped out where the beach gets a bit quieter. I would recommend Cadiz and this apartment wholeheartedly.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed staying at the penthouse apartment - it was so well furnished and equipped, a real treat, especially the two terraces. Cadiz itself was very much how we left it a few years ago; whilst it was obvious that times are a bit harder, it was great to see it still pretty vibrant with the cruise ships as much a necessary evil as they were last time! We love it in the evenings once things quieten down a bit. We hope to come back again in due course and would certainly recommend you to anyone heading your way. Cheers and thanks again.

We would highly recommend this lovely home for a holiday of comfort and excellent amenities. The local village, a short walk away, is typically Spanish and showcases the strong community values. Evenings are a pleasurable experience of eating and drinking local specialities and watching the folks enjoying their family lives. Everything was such good value and cheap by UK standards. The house is as described and has everything you could want. With roof top, balcony or patio to sit out on you are spoilt for choice. If cooking at home is your thing then the local supermarket is really excellent with a wide variety of fish as crazy prices (cheap!). A great base from which to explore the area with Cadiz, Jerez and Seville within easy reach. Horse racing on the beach, flamenco, Sherry houses and great markets there is something for everyone. Bar Madrid offers wifi connections and such friendly service a great place to start and finish the day. We couldn't fault anywhere that we ate and loved the fact that no one spoke any English! A wonderful holiday was had by all. The whole experience has been fab from the information shared before booking to letting us in the house 3 hours earlier than expected! Loads of towels and sunbeds and a beautifully clean home.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Cadiz city. The city is beautiful and very Spanish - just what we were looking for. The sun shone continuously and the tapas and red wine flowed, it was bliss! We stayed in the apartment ref 20505 in the Old Town and it was perfect. It is spotless, with lots of space and great facilities, and very central to bars, restaurants, tourist info office, bus stops and the train station. The lovely beaches were a short bus ride or 10min walk away through the lovely narrow streets. For a real taste of Spanish family life check out the beach at Playa de la Caleta on a Sunday afternoon - wonderful for atmosphere! Thank you to Cadizcasa for making us feel so welcome and comfortable, and for the accurate directions from Malaga! Despite Cadizcasa's bad feeling about the wind we had a wonderful week. We appreciate we were lucky with the weather at this time of year and we loved Cadiz and surrounds. We took the ferry over to El Puerto Santa Maria and also made trips to Sanlucar and Jerez, visited a few Bodegas and ate very well in each place. The apartment was perfect for us. We made very good use of the terrace (though I resisted the temptation to barbecue) and ate there most evenings. The fish in the market was just too good to pass up. We plan to spend more time in Spain from next year (when I retire) and we'll certainly want to come back to Cadiz. I hope when we do we'll be able to stay again in your lovely apartment.

"I met the owners of Cadizcasa when they first showed me round the property we bought in Spain and then I was told that they could help out with furnishings etc.-  This was just what I needed.  They have helped make the purchase in Spain stress free and everything they have done for me has been very good value.  I have used them for everything, furnishings, electrics and building work. Cadizcasa must have spent hours in the shops looking for the best value bedding and smaller items for the house.  Photos have been emailed to me and different suggestions have been offered when I was not sure about anythying.  Different price ranges have been offered so I could choose something in my budget. Friends went to stay in my house last week and they have said to many people how nice everything is.  I had to admit - I did nothing - Cadizcasa did it all!!  If we bought another property in Spain we would definitely use them again for everything.  I could not have managed without them".

We have been extremely satisfied with the quality of workmanship and timeliness of completion with the variety of jobs Cadizcasa have undertaken for us - including plumbing work, electrical work, carpentry and tiling. Their response when we had a "weekend emergency" was first class! We would and do happily recommend their services.

Cadizcasa have been invaluable in helping to set up and furnish our holiday home.  Nothing is too much trouble and everything is accomplished with the minimum of fuss.  They have the contacts and the know-how and are never further away than a quick email. We depend on them in getting things done.  

Cadizcasa have been looking after our house in Vejer since we completed on it in 2007.  Not only are they extremely courteous and friendly but there is no end to their talents and capacity for problem solving!!!  All we have need to do is email them with a request, no matter how ridiculousand it gets sorted out.  This would include not only all the usual keyholding aspects but also completely organising from purchase to getting our lighting, heating, shelving, security and shopping for us pre arrival.  Meeting up in Carrefour to help us (non Spanish speakers) purchasing beds, sorting out various bills at the townhall, purchasing small household items when we dont know where to get them!!  In fact the only thing we havent persuaded them to do is babysit.  In short they allow us to feel totally relaxed about being non resident knowing our house is in a safe and conscientious pair of hands, it is rather like having a good relative looking after the place.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for a brilliant three days and to say how helpful you were. You went our of your way to show us some lovely sights and views and really made our trip worthwhile. It seemed like a holiday to us. Nothing was too much trouble for you and it really made the weekend for us.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our recent visit to Spain. We really appreciated the time you spend with us, showing us around the area.

It was one of the things a lot of people think about but never do, a place in the sun. After a lot of soul searching etc we decided to go for it and began to research Spanish property on the internet as a start of the process.

We put together a list of options/requirements that had to be met.

*It must be accessible from more than 1 airport with good roads.

*It must have a Train Station. (not everybody drives).

*Typically Spanish.

*Big enough with supermarkets, banks, shops, market, bars, restaurants etc

The list is endless, but we found a property that met all our criteria and booked an inspection trip with the company who were advertising the property.

This inspection trip with Cadizcasa went very well and we decided to take this a step further. The next step was to look at the cost of purchase, what extras need to be added (IVA this is a purchase tax, NIE number, Solicitors fees, Bank Account, etc). The property was Off Plan (when will it be completed), stage payments (what percentage of purchase price and when), how do you transfer money, Spanish Mortgage. Then when I enquired how I go about the next steps of utilities, furnishing, solicitors, builders etc. I was told that Cadizcasa can help.

I contacted Cadizcasa and explained what I wanted and could they help me, I got a positive response and we decided that they would hand hold me through the process.

The first step was to look for a solicitor to handle the process and Cadizcasa were able to recommend a couple so we had a choice and decided on a company called DN Law. This company met all our requirements, our solicitor, Vanessa Nacher was English speaking, they gave us an up front estimate of costs for the purchase of our house, this went smoothly, there were no surprises and the bill was as per estimate.

The next step was to get the house habitable and this was where Cadizcasa were invaluable.

The house was completed but, without a kitchen (This is normal in Off Plan builds). This was good news as we could have the kitchen and appliances we wanted.. Electric Oven, Gas Hob, American Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Microwave etc, what style units, worktops and was able to send photos of our requirements. We were given a range of prices and goods so we could pick what we wanted to our specification and budget, they even got the American Fridge in the sale with a discount that they passed on to us.

The next thing was Air Conditioning (be careful with this as when they advertise pre installed Air-Con, this means that all the ducting and grills are in place but you need to purchase the actual A/C unit). Yet again we were given a list of prices and specifications and a cost to install. Finally, was the last of the big things, the boiler. This again met our requirements and was fitted to a high standard. These were the 3 big items and our expectations were exceeded.

General furnishing came next and the list was endless:- sofas, dining table and chairs sideboard, chests of drawers, beds, garden furniture, barbeque, lighting, TV (another deal with a 200 euro saving in the sales), DVD, Freeview etc. Yet again, with modern technology we were able to get exactly what we wanted with price options to meet our budget.

Finally came all the pots and pans, towels, cutlery, bed linen, kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils, bathroom fitments etc the list seemed endless, but as always this was all delivered in a timely manner as everything was completed for my first visit to my new house.
