The House

This well equipped and stylish golf course villa has spacious gardens with views to the Doñana National Park.  The airy entrance hall is home to the dining room and the other ground floor rooms are arranged around it. There is a spacious lounge with large flat screen TV which has both Spanish and Sky English channels plus a DVD system for films and music. From the lounge access is gained onto a covered terrace with garden furniture and stairs down to the 800m² garden and pool.

The entrance level also has one twin bedded bedroom with fitted wardrobe and safe. There is also a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, electric oven, extractor hood, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The other three bedrooms are on the lower ground floor. There are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. Both the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and access to a covered terrace with patio furniture, the garden and pool. The fourth bedroom is a large bodega style room with twin beds and a double sofa bed.

House Location

Situated opposite the Doñana nature park, and very close to where the Guadalquivir River enters the Atlantic, the Sanlucar Golf Course has 18 holes designed by three time Spanish amateur champion, Borja Queipo de Liano and combines elements of the British links, with small and deep bunkers, broad and curving fairways and large open greens. There are parkland elements, seven lakes, an abundance of trees, as well as fast and true greens in perfect condition.

The design makes the course favourable for players of all levels and is demanding but at the same time extremely enjoyable. A great deal of consideration has been given to the integration into the landscape, which gives it a comfortable and attractive feel. A respect for nature has been a fundamental premise in the conception of this project and with the renowned Jack Nicklaus designed Montecastillio Golf Course less than thirty minutes drive away; the local climate allows you to enjoy golf throughout the whole year. The General Area

Situated at the northern tip of the sherry triangle, five miles from Chipiona, the delightful small town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda is flanked by the Guadalquivir estuary. The speciality tipple here is the distinctive manzanilla wine, which acquires its dry, slightly salty tang from the seaside environment and the moist poniente wind. The town is equally famed for its excellent seafood, for which manzanilla is (coincidentally!) the ideal accompaniment.

The Sanlúcar beaches are also magnificent and stretch several miles to the south-west, while the former port and fishing quarter, the Bajo de Guía is unsurprisingly where some of the best seafood restaurants can be found. Sanlúcar is the “Real Spain” with friendly locals and where very few speak English! No nightclubs, rowdy bars and loud music…..just top up the Sangria, chill and enjoy!!
