The house sits right in the middle of the Old Town of Alcala with its charming cobbled streets and old world charm. Alcala de Los Gazules is one of Andalucia's famous 'pueblos blancos', or white towns. It is thought by many to represent the spirit of Andalucia The house is typical of many in the town and is situated within walking distance of all of the towns amenities. The location is ideal for touring the Los Alcornocales (Cork oak forests) National Park which is well known for its flora and fauna and is popular with birdwatchers and walkers. The airports of Gibraltar and Jerez are equidistant with the beaches of the Costa de la Luz (30 to 40 mins drive), while Málaga and the Costa del Sol are also within easy travelling distance.
