"This is our third self catering holiday and the first two were good but this one was way beyond expectation. Your property was immaculate and we were very taken with the garden on the roof. Thank you for everything". Alistair & Jenny McLean
"My wife and I have visited many cities in Spain and places in the south west of Spain but Cadiz has really captured our hearts. The people are charming, the city is one of the most intersting places we have visited and basically we thank you for making our trip possible". Philip Vignalou, Paris
"Loved the penthouse - amazing location. Never walked more than 5 minutes to find a new tapas bar or restaurant to eat in that we had not already visited. We cant believe the selection of good eateries and the fish and seafood was fabulous. The wine wasnt bad either"! B & D, Oxford
"Fabulous penthouse and stunning terrace. Spent 4 days in Cadiz doing all the sites - incredible, and transport was fantastic. We went to Morocco on Tuesday, Gibraltar on Wednesday and Seville on Thursday! Fabulous trip - thank you". Shorna H
We had a fantastic week in Cadiz. The apartment was beautiful, clean and just as described in the listing.
Getting there: We arrived by train after a week in Fuengirola, via one night stop in Seville. We organised the train tickets in the UK which was very easy to do however we nearly missed our connecting trains on the way home due to the late train from Cadiz to Seville (Dos Hermanos) so I would give myself more than 20 minutes in future. However apart from that it was very easy to get around on the trains and we would definitely go back to Cadiz.
The people were very friendly, the tapas bars and restaurants were amazing and there was usually some form of busking outside the cathedral every night. We loved the little narrow streets to walk around, the markets all the little squares and the beaches!
We will definitely come back because we didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do and we would recommend this property to people as long as you can manage stairs to the top of the Penthouse, it was worth it every day! Sue & John

Go horse riding on the beautiful white sand beaches of the Costa de la Luz or take lessons locally. The famous Royal Jerez Horse Academy 30 mins by car (visits and exhibitions). Enjoy the wonderful tapas bars and fish restaurants of Cadiz and El Puerto de Santa Maria. Go bird watching in The Grazelema mountains (40 mins by car). Fabulous shopping only 4 minutes walk from the apartment. Cadiz is reckoned by many, including Spaniards, to host the best and liveliest fiestas, notably the annual Carnival in (February) and Semana Santa (Easter week), but there are many more throughout the year. Take a day trip to the beautiful village of Bolonia and tour the well preserved Roman Village with its amphitheatre, temple and Garam manufacturing area where they made fish sauce for export to all parts of the Roman world. Have lunch in one of the thatched fish restaurants on the shoreline or just take a long walk along the deserted white sand beach and watch the local cows paddling in the sea. We have personally lived 10 years in Spain and are happy to give you any information you require about Cadiz or the Costa de la Luz.
