Costa de la Luz estate and rental agents Cadizcasa have been elected members of the AIPP (Association of International Property Professionals). The Association describe themselves as a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to improve the standards of professionalism in the international property market, helping both the industry and the public and to provide the consumer with confidence and the industry professionals with a united voice. All AIPP members sign up voluntarily to follow the AIPP Code of Conduct, a code established to help consumers by showing where they will find professional, accountable companies. It is an illustration of each Member´s commitment to high standards in their work and the AIPP demand that all Members act with honesty, transparency and integrity in all their dealings with the public and with the industry.
Lesley McEwan, Managing Director of Cadizcasa Estate and Rental Agents said “we are delighted to have been accepted in to the Association. Our industry needs regulation and the AIPP provide an excellent guide to the basic standards all clients should expect from an estate agent.
Being members of the AIPP is particularly important to agents such as us operating in the Costa de la Luz area where we still have many unregulated operators offering a substandard service. The more that reputable companies join the AIPP, the more that clients can be assured there are serious companies here, who can be relied on to deliver an excellent product with professionalism and honesty.
As many people are aware we started our own Ethical Estate and Rental Agency campaign last year to lead the way and that campaign has been very well received by both sellers, buyers and renters. We feel that the AIPP aims very much reflect what we have been aiming to achieve on a local scale and that their international capability will help us to move forward with our goals.
