After the long and hard fought match between Spain and Holland it was marvellous to see the clean playing Spanish side win.  It was almost a good over evil situation.  No matter how much the Dutch side hacked into them they still came out victorious.  No surprise their manager took his medal off just after he left the podium – guilty conscience perhaps on the tactical advice front??

Local Estate agent Lesley McEwan of Cadiz Casa said “what a match, I was glued to the seat.  I am so delighted for the Spanish team.  They played a fair and hard game and were deserving of the cup.  I hope this win will be a turning point for Spain’s luck.  I understand the stock exchange went up 1 point when they qualified for the semi final so hopefully this win should lead to bigger and better things and put us back on the map.  It has been tough here for a few years with the high unemployment and general doom and gloom but this was a nugget of gold and should boost morale”.
