Puerto Real

With a population of some 40,000 Puerto Real is a sizeable town on the Bay of Cadiz close to the City of the same name.

It has an old town whith some very pretty old buildings and shops.  Puerto Real offers good amenities including health care facilites and schools.

A UNIVERSITY TOWN

There are extensive Cadiz University buildings in the town and this provides work for many of the citizens.  Also in the area is a large port with ship building and an aerospace company.

Many people make the daily short commute into Cadiz City by train or road and a new highspeed rail track is being installed to provide a rapid link to Madrid.  The rail and road infrastructure provides fast and efficient travel to Cadiz City, Jerez and Seville.
