House location

This house is located  in an  elevated position in 'La Noria'Vejer de la Frontera which  is one of Spain´s most photographed pueblos blancos.  Perched on top of a hill its ancient battlements built by the Moors still stand to mark out the village boundaries.  With a population of around 12,500 Vejer is large enough to prevent bumping in to the same person every day but small enough for you to form close friendships with the locals.  The cobbled streets and pots of geraniums make the village an unforgettable experience.
Vejer has a good mix of old established family shops, supermarkets and an indoor market.  There is an air of bohemian chic which hangs over the village with a good selection of little courtyard bars and quaint restaurants.  The nearest shops and bars are only 250 metres away whilst the town centre is within easy walking distance.

Lounge dining room. with coffee table, large flat screen tv with UK free view and Spanish channels, DVD palyer, 2  settees, dining table and chairs fro 6 people, air conditioning.

Kitchen.  Fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer, hob, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and kettle

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:   For lets of longer than 1 week a change of linen and towels are left in the house. Maid service available at cost to client.

Please note the air conditioning is charged at 10 per week extra.

Children

This property is suitable for children. It is completely enclosed by walls and the only access to a road is by a locked gate with an entry phone system. Entry to the solarium is via a lockable door.

Outside

This property has lots of outisde space providing either sun or shade depending on the time of day. . It is entered through a large  terrace patio furniture for 6.   There is a second patio on the ground floor  and is entered from the kitchen which offers a quiet cool space to relax in and the little table and chairs are ideal for a cool drink or coffee break. There  is one large  roof top solarium  equipped with sun loungers.    The solarium enjoys stunning views to the open countryside, old windmills of Vejer and the Costa de la Luz coastline with North Africa beyond. This is a quiet and tranquil setting to enjoy the beautiful sunny afternoons. There is a spacious private pool complex for the use of residents and guests only. This comprises large pool, children's pool, toilets and shower facilities. It is only a 2 minute walk from the house and is an ideal way to spend a lazy day.   The pool is open from June to mid September but please check as the dates may vary.

This was our first visit to Vejer and we were the first visitors to stay in this house,  but we will be back next year.  The house was perfect and had everything we needed.  It is near to the lovely swimming pool but not too close and it is easy to walk to the shops and centre of town.  Thank you for being so helpful and professional.
