Ayamonte is a stunning Spanish town with excellent facilities and a weekly market used by both Spanish and Portuguese shoppers who cross the wide span bridge from Portugal to pick up a few bargains. Within 15 minutes are the beautiful beaches of the area including Isla Canella and Isla Cristina and a little further along the coast Islantilla and the beautiful little fishing village of El Rompedo famed for its fish restaurants. This is an ideal location for a holiday or weekend break as it is only 30 minutes to Faro airport with an excellent range of international flights.
