The swimming pool is open between June and September but dates may vary so please ask prior to booking.

Car hire

Recommended but not a necessity as the bus, train and taxi service is very good and cheap.


The House

New town house on two floors with open aspects and large terraces only a minute´s walk to the communal pool. This light, airy property is very well furnished and provides excellent family accommodation for holidays or long term lets. The large sunny ground floor kitchen  terrace is ideal for BBQ's and the rooftop terrace perfect for quiet drinks and sunbathing. Good local shops, bars/restaurants all on hand and an easy walk to the beautiful centre of Lebrija with its picturesque plazas and friendly locals. The area is famous for flamenco and sherry and the vineyards stretch from Lebrija to the coast. The Costa de la Luz and the cities of Jerez, Seville and Cadiz are all accessible by train from Lebrija station or via the new road network. The beautiful beaches of Sanlucar, Chipiona and Rota are all within easy reach.  Also readily accessible are the stunning mountains of the Sierra Grazalemas, popular with walkers/hikers and birdwatchers alike, and the famous Doñana National Park which can be accessed from Sanlucar.

House location

Situated in a quiet residential area close to the local sports centre and new hospital.   The nearest shops and bars are only a couple of minutes walk and the large supermarket is a further 5 minutes.  The town centre is easily walkable in 5/10 minutes and offers an excellent choice of shops, banks, bars, cafes and restaurants.  The people are very proud of their well ordered town and it is kept in excellent condition with plenty of open plazas and flower filled communal areas to sit out in.  Lebrija is home to many of the famous flamenco singers and dancers.  The flamenco heritage can be seen throught the town and impromptu seasons spring up as the sherry starts to flow.  Lebrija is conveniently placed between Jerez de la Frontera and Sanlucar de Barrameda.  Sanlucar is the nearest beach but only a little further lie the beaches of Chipiona and Rota.  The town has an excellent railway station which links to Jerez, Cadiz, Seville and Madrid.

Bright spacious open plan lounge with seating for 6, TV with Freeview UK channels. Dining area with table and seating for 6.


Please note that a long term rental is 6 months or more.  For lesser periods please ask for a price.


The property is entered by wide gates from the level pavement with parking at the door of the house or within the front terrace if preferred. There is a spacious and bright ground floor twin single room and ground floor shower room and toilet.


Spacious terraces to front and rear of property with roof terrace equipped with patio furniture and BBQ.  The roof terrace also offers a spacious sun terrace with 360 degree views to the vineyards and town of Lebrija, with the famous Roman ruins easily visible on the hilltop to the west of the town.  There is also a small private terrace accessed from the master bedroom as well as a patio on the first floor.

The nearby pool complex, with adult and separate children's pool has a garden area suitable for sunbathing plus toilets.

Excellent local shops and bars all within a few minutes walk on level made up road/pavement. Shops include fruit shop, 2 general stores, butcher, bakery, 2 bars/restaurants, hairdresser. 5 minutes further away is a large supermarket with underground parking and the town centre with it's numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Transport is easy with the train station in the town easily reached by car. There are regular trains to Jerez, Cadiz City, Seville and Madrid. The trains are cheap, clean and efficient with a return ticket to Madrid costing 119 euros first class. Lebrija itself offers many places of interest including the Roman ruins sitting high above the town, the famous Parish Church of Lebrija and the beautiful Plaza de España. The vinyards around Lebrija are popular and the wine and sherry tasting in the bodegas of Sanlucar and Jerez are recommended. Sanlucar famous for its annual horse racing which takes place on the beach and its ferry service to the Doñana National Park. The Doñana offers a wildlife spectacle in its natural surroundings including lynx and eagles. To the south is Chipiona another very Spanish seaside resort followed by Rota with it's fabulous beaches and strong American influences. A little further down the coast you reach the beautiful seaside town of El Puerto de Santa Maria famous for its fish restaurants and ferry crossing to Cadiz - the oldest continually inhabited City in Europe dating back some 3,000 years to the time of the Pheonicians. It's narrow streets and beautiful buildings are well worth a visit as are its stunning beaches which encircle the city. Also easily accessible is Jerez, famous for it's wide avenues, sherry and horses. It boasts the Royal School of Equestrian Arts where they train the horses to dance and march plus many sherry bodegas where you can sample local wines and sherries. Jerez hosts the Motorbike GP every Spring and the Formula 1 drivers train and tune their cars here - spectating is popular and cheap.

To make a confirmed booking we require 20% of the total rental sum. This can be paid by bank transfer or cheque in sterling or euro. For sterling transfers only you must add 6 pounds to cover bank charges in Spain. The final payment for the property is due 1 month before entry. Payments in cash on arrival are accepted but only with a reservation deposit of 40% paid by bank transfer. Please note that cheques are only acceptable if there is a minimum 6 week clearing period prior to your entry date. We require you to acknowledge receipt and agreement of our terms and conditions in writing. Entry between 1 and 6pm. Departures at 10am.
